Porsche Macan 95B
The 95B Macan is the combustion Macan, on the MLB architecture it shares with the Audi Q5 but very little of the tuning. US cars run 2015 through 2024 across three phases, all PDK and all Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive, before the electric Macan on a different platform took over.

Owning and working on it
- US launch for MY2015 was the S with the 3.0 twin-turbo V6 and the Turbo with the 3.6 twin-turbo V6. The four-cylinder base Macan and the GTS joined for MY2017.
- The base Macan runs the VW-group EA888 2.0T rather than a Porsche-designed engine.
- The 2.9 twin-turbo V6 arrives with the second refresh for the GTS and S, rated up to 434 hp.
- PDK service is DIY-able but the obstacle is the fill procedure, not the pan and filter: the fluid has to be filled to the level port at a specified temperature, watched live on a scan tool. Any service is a partial exchange by nature; a meaningful volume stays in the cooler circuit and clutch pack.
- Confirm which rear differential is fitted before buying oil. It varies by trim and option, not by model name.
- The battery-electric Macan is a different platform and is deliberately not covered here.
